Shut in by a natural mountainside and plenty of protective spells, the community still practised magic through old ways and believes, valueing pagan rites and rituals as well as spirituality and the bounty of nature. Virva was raised very much of a similar mindset and set of beliefs, learning from her community and being taught by them. She knew almost nothing of the outside world, until they finally found were found. [break][break] It wasn't pretty, to say the least. In a fierce battle between the old and the new, the secluded community that had fled from the old Romans when they had their crusade against druidism and other pagan branches instantly pointed their finger to those fearful of their life, the muggles. When the government didn't help, the few survivors spread across the world, some seeking out other similar isolated communities.[break][break] Virva, now left with only her father, was left on a different path. Having seen the destruction of her home woke a thread of distaste that had previously not existed. When her father admitted to not having the tools needed to integrate them into this new world, Virva threw a bit of a fit in hopes of avoiding teh doom of being locked in a brick building all day, reading tomes in the blood of plants on the skin of trees that she loved so dearly. [break][break] Yet her earlier education in the very nature based community has left her with few skills in English and a high knowledge of nature based magic. As was not uncommon in her hometown, she is already a skilled animagi, although neither her nor her father is quite aware of the fact that ought to be registered. She's quite the skilled huntress, both as animal and with bow and arrow. While highly unconventional, she hopes her skill will help her, as well as her advanced knowledge of magical creatures, which her homeland treasured above all others. Due to their lives being intwined with nature, they seem to hold a special talent for dealing with creatures, magical and mundane alike.
