Where others were encouraged to choose smart and not for things that were uncertain to guarantee income, both Bobby's parents were very nurturing towards his more creative outlets. From a young age he was encouraged to chase his passions, although his mother was less enthusiastic by the time he found his true passion in the tattoo world. Then again, they should have seen it coming. From the time he was young he admired those with ink upon their skins and often drew on himself and his friends with markers, despite many attempts to tell him off.[break][break] For his younger years his parents actually hired a tutor, not for school but to teach him drawing techniques and further nurture the passion he so clearly planned to chase. He lived a fairly sheltered life on that part, even though he clearly saw the impact his fathers fame had upon their lives. His mother was not unhappy, although the paparazzi drove her to insanity. Bobby found them annoying and was glad to get away from that once he started school.[break][break] Unfortunately for him, his fathers fame preceded him to school, where plenty knew about his father. He strove to be very different from his father, dressing more alternative and letting his creative expression run free. When he was fourteen his particular brand of different started to get noticed by the ladies. While at first he objected he soon found that he didn't mind the attention. He started to grow more into his style and by fifteen he'd managed to talk his mother into letting him get his first tattoo. At that point, all bets were off and he started designing his own pieces.[break][break] In the summer of his sixteenth year he got an apprenticeship with a local shop in Oslo, where he learned the tips and tricks from a veteran in the arts. He got to design and tattoo under careful supervision for several years, at first only during the holidays and after graduation as his first real job. It, unfortunately for him, was a muggle shop and so his magic had to be carefully hidden. [break][break] At age twenty five he decided it was in the best interest of his career to move countries, although a particular dame back in the UK made his destination rather far away. With the support of his parents he spent a single year as apprentice to a magical tattoo artist, learning those things he did not yet know while saving money to open his own shop. [break][break] His talents, added to his careful business plans, added to a booming success as artist within the UK, quickly growing a reputation as one of the best in the country. People would come from far to get pieces done by him and he was happy. By now he works on growing his business as well as his own personal collection of tattoos. He's exploring new techniques to further enhance his tattoos, although he feels the art goes above anything. [break][break]
